Item# NC-103
$21.95
The P-36 was the predecessor of the P-40. It had very good performance for the mid 1930s, but was considered obsolescent by the time the war started. Nevertheless, it gave a good account of itself during the Battle of France the few squadrons flying it being responsible for most of the Luftwaffe losses. The aircraft depicted in the U.S. markings shot down two Val dive bombers during the Pearl Harbor attack.

Three pre-printed, Asuka or Domestic tissue skins, Pearl Harbor, Battle of France, and Vichy French are available. Propeller in kit is Peck.

P-36 has been improved, lighter, only wing tips, stabilizer trailing edge, tail outline are only laminated parts and now has lifting tail.
